Yet another Valentines Day with no one to love. Oh well, I never said life had to be perfect. I don’t even actually know when Valentines Day is. I never memorized the dates of important holidays. Probably the only ones I know offhand are Christmas, the 4th of July, and April’s fools day. They never were very important to me.
Maybe if I was more outgoing I could get a decent girl? Maybe if I wore normal clothes and talked about inane things like the weather and football? I guess it doesn’t matter much.

I would have posted my latest story for my 3000 pageview mark, but I am lazy and don’t have the art done yet. Maybe my stories are crap? Maybe my artwork too? I might just give up and go back to playing video games for free time expenditure. Thanks for humoring me at checking this out.

This is dedicated to everyone who has no one this Valentines Day.

Valentines sucks......not even just for those of us who dont have anyone, last year i did have someone, and it still sucked. maby thats just becasue it was the wrong person, she brought a friend. kinda killed any romace. but it just proved to me that it sucks either way.

Keep truckin', man. "Valentine's Day is a holiday invented by greeting card companies to make people feel like crap." (Joel Barrish (Jim Carrey), 'Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind'). Valentine's Day is like Red Nose Day, or the Tsunami Appeal -- people aren't showing they care because they do (though they may), they're doing it because they feel guilty.

I've got someone, and I'm just ignoring the whole shennanigan. Love doesn't need a day; it's eternal.

BTW, the art is amazing....:tearful:

its next monday , the 14th..! st valentine is buried somewhere in dublin..well his heart is... it'll get better dude:)

I meant valentines day is NEXT MONDAY!........and St Valentine is buried in dublin..(ireland), either him or just his heart..can't remember..and yes its irrelevant:)

*ponders* Deep, man, deep...there's a lot of psychological stuff you can get out of a picture like this, all kinds of human issues that are wrapped up in our desire to be loved. And as usual, you captured every bit of the complexity of the emotion and still only used a handful of small words and simple lines. That's so awesome...

Valentine's Day is overrated, man. I try to pretend it doesn't exist, mostly. :-P

Yeah, I know how the alone-on-Valentine's-Day thing is. Buy discount chocolate, because even if you don't need it that day, it's good to stock up. *nods* The picture is dedicated to me. :)

I like your stories and comics and whatnot. Really, though, don't you want a girl who likes you despite the clothes and whatnot, instead of for them? A girl who doesn't care what you wear? I mean, I'd want a guy who'd not think it's embarrassing when I dance around on the way home or say stupid things or make annoying high pitched noises when I'm startled. The wait will make the rewards all the more sweet.

On another note, man, it must've taken you a long time to memorize the date of the Fourth of July.
